Another of my interests – street art. Here’s a interesting juxtaposition of a stencil on paper pasted onto an already ‘tagged’ cover of a piece of industrial street furniture in Lucca, Tuscany, there has been a later application of a blue spray paint graffito.
I like the pierced word GAS appearing directly above the stencilled figure of the Grim Reaper.
I also think that the different layers that make up the image can be considered to refer to popular digital image making methods as well as the old ‘cut & paste’ method used for many years in the graphic design industry.
