This stencil appears fairly frequently around Norwich. I’ve worked on the image in Photoshop, the original can be found on my Flickr site in the stencils set.
Free running/parcour has a growing number of practitioners in Norwich. These young men are doing their thing in the middle of town on a busy Saturday afternoon. a little selective masking and blurring has been used to de-emphasise the foreground figures on the left.
We’ve been here before, but we were red then…
The small town of Minori on a quiet day in early July 2007. Ravello is visible further along the coast, and if you know what you looking for you can see the white building of La Rondinaia, Gore Vidal’s former home mentioned in my post of July 29th.The panorama is a composite of 4 images, merged in Photoshop CS3.
A stylised photograph of one on the stylised bronze lions that stand guard at the entrance to the City Hall of Norwich, a highly regarded example of 1930’s civic architecture. It houses the office of the city council, where the Labour Party currently holds the balance of power. The city council has the largest number of Green Party councillors of any council in England.
Enjoyed a pleasant public holiday at Southwold on the Suffolk coast today – nice lunch at The Crown followed by a bracing walk in the sunshine along the clifftop. This beautifully finished car was parked on Gun Hill and I decided to give it a custom photograph to acknowledge the quality custom work lavished on it by the owner, who unfortunately wasn’t around to get more information from. The car is really a bright turquoise blue as you can see on my Flickr site.
