These two delightful mannequin heads were in a charity shop window in Cambridge – the names are my invention, selected to go with the kitsch, cartoonish styling.
This finely turned out gentleman, passing time with an old friend in the park, watching the world go by as he enjoys the autumn of his life is a cliché that I find myself fantasising about now and then. A bit worrying really as I’ve got another 25 years or so before I get there and not at all what thinking about the future is meant to be about, or is it?

Feeling much better today and felt motivated to get my camera out and have a go at some self portraits using a technique I thought up – using a long exposure combined with the on camera flash set to synch with the second shutter curtain. This one was @ 4″ with me walking away from a window during the exposure.
