The gothic revival style of the chapel of Notre Dame School in Norwich is well-suited to the sombre light.
For photographers, I’m using a Fujifilm X-Pro 2 coupled with one of my old favourite lenses, the Olypmus Zuiko 55mm f1.2 . The settings were ISO800 lens at f2 shutter at 1/4700. The RAW (RAF) file was developed using Apple Photos developer.
Free running/parcour has a growing number of practitioners in Norwich. These young men are doing their thing in the middle of town on a busy Saturday afternoon. a little selective masking and blurring has been used to de-emphasise the foreground figures on the left.
The beach at Cromer on Saturday August 25th. The holiday makers enjoying some fine weather, some of them even braving the chilly waters of the North Sea!
The lifeboat on the beach is a temporary replacement for permanent lifeboat, which usually launches from the end of the nearby pier (where this picture was taken from), while a new boat is being built.
Went to the beach today and captured this, brought it home and did a little work in photoshop with it. It’s a detail of a part of the sea defences (groynes) which line the Norfolk coast to help reduce coastal erosion.
