The gothic revival style of the chapel of Notre Dame School in Norwich is well-suited to the sombre light.
For photographers, I’m using a Fujifilm X-Pro 2 coupled with one of my old favourite lenses, the Olypmus Zuiko 55mm f1.2 . The settings were ISO800 lens at f2 shutter at 1/4700. The RAW (RAF) file was developed using Apple Photos developer.
Great to catch this Jay working hard to get his reward!

These are herrings split and racked ready for going into the smoking oven to be turned into kippers – a traditional way of preparing this, once abundant, fish.
A whole industry and culture existed on the East coast of Britain based around this wonderful, tasty fish.

This stencil appears fairly frequently around Norwich. I’ve worked on the image in Photoshop, the original can be found on
my Flickr site in the stencils set.
